Play, play, play

Children learn as they play. More importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.” – O. Fred Donaldson

Focusing on Physical Development this week. We have been practicing our scissors skills (don't forget you can practice at home with your child too),Threading buttons, playing ball games, catching bean bags and lots more through our different planned and unplanned play activities.

One of our popular activities was our hair dressing activity last week! Boys, girls and teachers experienced and explored Chevening School Nursery Hair Salon!

Also very popular is our Sensory play, using shaving cream and corn flour. Simple activities you can do at home.

Current favourite story is Rabbit Foo Foo. The children almost know it now by heart.

All the children enjoyed making Mothers Day presents and we hope you all had a lovely day.
