Mystery Readers

Thank you so much to our lovely mystery readers. The children are always excited and very proud. We had videos and even Emma (Ionas mummy) came into nursery to read to us.

We enjoyed the sun in our garden this week, the children discovered lots of slugs and other insects under our logs. We watched our beautiful daffodils growing and learned how to care for them. We explored mechanical toys and used wisks to mix different ingredients together. Currently we are extending our language and learning lots of new words how to describe things. We have been exploring textures ie squishy, lumpy, spikey and hot and cold things and tasted foods. With lots of encouragement we are extending our childrens vocabulary and encouraging longer sentences.

Mixing colours was another favourite with some of our kids this week.
