Math, rhythm sticks, Makaton, Literacy, online Safety and lots more

We have been very busy. Lots of practising of our Number skills, showing interest in numbers in the environment, estimating, measuring, learning about 2D and 3D shapes and lots more. Having fun with rhythm sticks was a favourite with the children. Learning lots of new Makaton signs. Like Spring, March, and many more. There is an event on the 15th March in Bluewater at Waterstones if you and your child are interested. It's the story of 3 little pigs, using signing. We have been enjoying the story in nursery in the moment along side Gingerbread man and lots of rhyming. Susie has been acting out We're going on a Bear hunt in Forest school, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

We learned all about Online Safety, listens to stories, practising our online safety song. We have handed out a letter to that regard out a few weeks back. Jaqui made us work hard during PE and we will be enjoying some more tomorrow.

As you know there is lots of news around covid 19. We will keep parents updated as we receive information from dfe Kent, the government and health department. During this uncertain time it is imperative that we all follow the guidelines to keep all of us safe and healthy. Please look out for our emails and your support is greatly appreciated.

Next 2 weeks the children will be learning about people and communities and jobs and we are inviting parents and carers to help us! Please come tell us about your job. Just 10 minutes when ever suits you! Speak to a member of staff for more information.
