Math, Fireworks biscuits and Remembrance Day
Mathematics (maths) is an important part of learning for all children in the early years and receiving a good grounding in maths is an essential life skill.
We have been focusing on our Number skills, learning all about shapes and especially loved counting how many Fireworks biscuits we could make.
All children can be successful with maths provided they are given the opportunities to understand it in a way that makes sense to them.
On the 11th November we also talked about Remembrance Day and held a two-minute silence at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars.
