We focused on the Gruffalo story last week and also enjoyed pretend cooking with choosing recipes and ingredients and distributing oats/flour all over nursery. Using glue sticks to trace our name and make it sparkle with glitter, pictures will be used as display in nursery and will post it on the blog when up. Eventually the sun came out this week and we enjoyed marking in the garden and learning about shadows with Jaqui. We also found a unfortunate dead mouse in the garden, which the children were intrigued by and asked lots of questions and got answers about the understanding of the world.
