Chinese New Year and online safety
What a busy week we had. Learning all about how we can stay safe online through lessons with stories and songs. Using books, tablets and laptop.
The children loved experiencing all about Chinese New year through dragon painting, making lanterns, tasting food with chopsticks, listening to stories about the Chinese New year and some wonderful dragon dancing in the school hall using materials. Everyone was delighted to receive a lucky envelope. On Tuesday we made some chocolate brownies with Karen, Dana and Susie. Thank you Dana for helping out! Some of us looked at different ingredients, which plants they came from and how the ingredients change when mixing them together.
So it has been very busy. Come and have a look at our wonderful Dragon display.
Next week we enhance our Physical Development and Handling, focusing on Mark making skills.
